Our apartment was excellent - clean, comfy, very clean and modern bathroom and shower. You couldn't get a better location! The staff were excellent, really helpful, even arranging taxi pick ups and drop offs from the airport which were convenient and really well priced. We were situated on the first floor over the courtyard so if people came in late/left early and were noisy this woke us up. But this is very minor and I would definitely use again!

We got a studio Apartment (13-20 October). The Location could not be better, just a stepping stone away from the city centre. Room was quite spacious, clean and cosy. Loved every bit of this Apartment. Front Office Team were very friendly and helpful with all of our queries. Highly recommended !

Can't rate this place enough! Situated on a pretty pedestrian street, it was a little bit difficult to find at first but friendly passers by were happy to help. We were greeted at the reception by a lovely girl who was full of maps, suggestions & recommendations (a few of which we tried out & they didn't disappoint!). It was quite a few flights up to the apartment (worth keeping in mind for anyone with difficulties in this area but they did have lower level apartments). The apartment itself was fab! Spotlessly clean & super stylish & modern with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The double bed was huge & so comfy. The fold out couch, not so much but it did the job. Also it was toasty warm in the room which was great given the temperature outside. The location couldn't have been better, literally a few steps from market square. Our flight was changed to a later time but it was no problem for the staff to arrange a late check out (6 pm) for a tiny charge. 5 stars & so reasonably priced. Impressive accommodation for an impressive city!

These are excellent little apartments which have plenty of space, great design and the most fantastic location. The staff are extremely helpful and can organise taxis, trips etc. Given how central they are, the apartments are well insulated from nighttime noise, although less so from internal noise and their own airconditioners - a small downside is not being able to leave windows open as the aircon units were directly outside. Our two bedroom apartment could have very comfortably accommodated two couples, and even sleeping six would be doable without too much crowding. I would definitely choose these again on a return visit to Krakow.

I was very happy indeed with our stay in the Blue room. We had a shower toilet sink shampoo and soap, we had a kitchenette with hobs, fridge, kettle, pots pans, plate and cups. We had a tv and a lovely view over the courtyard. The bed was comfy, the studio was clean, warm and quiet. The location was ideal and the staff let us check in as soon as the room was available, they had also arranged our tours to Auschwitz and Birkenau and the salt mines for us. I was very happy with my choice of apartment :)

Just back from a recent stay with 3 friends and cannot recommend these apartments highly enough. Very cosy, large bathroom, comfy beds. Staff were so helpful, particularly Agnieszka, who sent me plenty of information before arrival. This apartment is perfect for weekend/ 3 day break and you don't want to be in any other location. Definitely would recommend booking auschwitz tour through them as well as we received a highly professional service on our tour.

Our windows overlooked the yard so it was peaceful and silent at night. The apartment was cosy, and just outside our door we had a wooden terrace where to spend time. The only minus comes from the fact that there were no elevator but quite many steps to climb. Fortunately the staff was very helpful: personnel carried our luggage upstairs and were very friendly in every way. We really do sincerely recommend this accommodation.

We have recently returned from our 5th trip to Krakow in the last 3 years and our 2nd visit to the Grodska Apartments this year. If you are looking for a clean, well furnished apartment at a reasonable price which is right in the centre of Krakow Old Town, then this is the place for you. We have stayed in both of the Sun and Moon apartments, but the real Stars are the fantastic reception staff and the location. And yes - we will be back next year - just have to decide which apartment to book.
Room Tip: Check the website and get a room overlooking Grodska Street and you can watch the world go by.

These apartments are spacious, modern and well equipped. They are in a great location, just to the side of the old market square so within a minute's walk from the market, shops, bars and restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with tips of trips to take to the salt mines, auschwitz. We also arranged an airport transfer through the apartment staff to and from the airport which was perfect when you don't know the area and are arriving late.

We'd never been to Poland before and didn't know what to expect - now we know that everything we experienced could have been summed at up Grodzka 4 in a nutshell. From receiving an email from Room Divisions Manager Agnieska several days before arrival with instructions on getting to the apartment, and offers for airport transfers and options for popular tours such as the one to Auschwitz, we still didn't anticipate just how excellent Agnieska and her team would be in ensuring our stay was seamless. All questions were answered with smiles and enthusiasm.   Grodzka 4 is a series of apartments tucked away in a cozy courtyard literally heartbeats from the main market square, and no matter what you plan to do in Krakow, there is no better home base for your time in this lovely town (it may be a city, but it feels like a bustling, friendly village). Everywhere within the old town is no more than a 10-minute walk across, including Wawel Castle, one of Krakow's centerpiece attractions, and if you're headed to Kazimierz, the Jewish Quarter that's where the hipsters and Bohemians are hopping, it's just a 15-minute saunter. Even if you wanted to take in changing scenes and go from tourist central to the working class Podgorze, the former Jewish ghetto where Schindler's Factory is located and a must-see, it's an easy 25-minute stroll. Every morning, I went running along Planty Park, a green belt that's also the peripheral of the old town, and there's just no way you'd get lost finding your way back to Grodzka 4.   We stayed in the Brass room, and our studio featured a kitchenette that was sufficient for preparing simple breakfasts. There was a little dining table/desk, a flat screen TV, a spacious bathroom with shower, and a double bed for my mom and I. It wasn't the most comfortable bed nor pillows, but I'm a sound sleeper and just couldn't find too much fault with that vis a vis my entire experience. There's plenty of real estate for luggage and splaying your stuff out, especially if you're tired of the standard miniature European hotel rooms, and the wooden floor and exposed brick in the walls were a nice touch of modern design in an old building that made you feel like you were in your own condo for those few days.   Hotel staff are around through 8pm, and there's a night watchman from 10pm to 10am the next day. Although the tours booked at the reception are a little more expensive than what you'd find on the streets, they are excellently run with great organization and comfortable, safe transportation. We had decided too late in the evening that we wanted to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine (another must-do) the next day, yet a phone call by the night watchman to Agnieska on her mobile got us in for the 11am tour less than 12 hours later - that's just how dedicated and good the staff are. And when you think about getting all this at about 56 euros a night, it's an absolute steal, even without breakfast and daily housekeeping.   Get your obwarzanek (Polish bagel) from the cart across the street at the corner of Grodzka and Pocztowy, and around the corner also on Pocztowy, a bakery sells good sandwiches and pastries for breakfast. The Grodzka 6 fast food stand does pretty good placzki (latkes) and a few doors down is a very good liquor store. Can't ask for anything more, unless it's kielbasa.

Just came back from long weekend in Krakow. Me and my husband stayed with "Krakow For You Appartments" in the building they have on Szczepanska Street. On the arrival we were greated by very sweet receptionist with a lovely smile that was very helpful and explained everything very clearly and was really happy to help with all our questions we had. Appartment was short walk through the old town square from the reception and was located band in the centre of the town square souranded by beautiful restaurants, bars and shops. We had amazing view on the old market "Sukiennice" and on the "Mariacki Church" which was amazing. Everything is located on your door step. You don't have to worry about rushing cos you are there all the time. Tons of restaurants to choose from, loads of bars, you are only short walk from "Wawel Castle" and Wisla river, clubs and pubs are all around you so no way of getting bored :) Appartment was very clean, loads of space for having party with your friends, we had great comfortable king size bed, small kitchen with all appliances working perfectly fine for you to make coffee or tea in the morning or cooking a dinner :) Seriously check this place if you planing on staying in Krakow!!!
Service is amazing, you are in the centre of town so you can go back to your apartment when you wish, you are only short walk from all tourist attractions, bus or train station and girls in the reception are very happy to help with booking your trips if you wish to go and see something different. AMAZING PLACE AND GREAT VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY :)
Their apartments are located on either Grodzka Street or Szczepanska Street and both are in the centre of Town Square so whichever you choose you will be in the middle of all the action and tourist attractions :)

You'll have all you may need for a confortable living in Krakow!
Moreover, the apartment is situated in the very center of the city, and by walk you can move around the center without any problem, going back home whenever you need.

So 6 of us (lads 21-25) went to Krakow for four nights at the beginning of August and got a real bargin with these apartments. We stayed in 'sapphire' an dteh rooms were brilliantly equipped with flat screen TV's, hair dryers, numerous wardrobes etc. For me the two bathrooms are probably the best i have experienced in any hotel or apartment anywhere! Only one negative was the lack of aircon, but still, that doesnt stop me giving these apartments a 5star! will use again if i ever come back to Krakow!

Bed and linen was good quality and clean. It was quite warm inside on a mild day, so it might get really hot on a hot one. There is an electric fan, but no aircon.

La situación de los apartamentos es inmejorable ya que se encontraban a diez pasos de la
plaza vieja de Krakow, justo en medio de la zona mas turística de la ciudad. Los apartamentos
son prácticamente nuevos, muy cuidados y con todo lo necesario para una cómoda estancia.
La limpieza fue correcta, en la misma linea que todo lo demás.Los colchones comodos y lo
unico que hechamos en falta fue un ventilador ya que nos hizo mucho calor esos dias.
En cuanto al personal en mi opinión es dificil de mejorar ya que fueron muy atentos y siempre
dispuestos a ofrecerte su ayuda en todo lo que hiciera falta ya fuera para dar información o
resolver algún problema en particular una recepcionista de nombre kasia la cual me ayudo
con un problema que tuve con los billetes de tren y me ayudo a rellenar un formulario de reclamación ya que hablaba español lo suficiente para enterdernos correctamente.

Our trip to Krakow was great! The location was the best base to discover the neighborhood. The breakfast in the Restaurant "Marmolada" (really snugly) on the other side of the street was good.
The Hotel is nice - but the best is the support of the staff (friendly and very providing). Kasia was like a family member :)

By far the best customer service I have ever received from any hotel/accommodation. They went over and above to help us with a problem we had with getting a package delivered to us, by the time it arrived we had left for another country so they made every effort to get the package couriered to us and wouldn't accept any money, truly amazing service which we are so thankful for! We loved the apartment- it was huge and modern with everything we needed. The location can't be beaten, the apartments are right next to the main square, yet are still so quiet. Krakow is an amazing city, we had a lot of fun. I would definitely go back to stay here if I end up in Krakow again and would recommend for everyone to stay here when visiting Krakow. My family and I have just returned from a fantastic week in Krakow. I have to say that before our journey I already felt that the people working at the apartment house were really nice people. They answered quickly any email that I sent and they were really really helpful. The apartment is brilliantly located, near the market square and within walking distance from all important places and shops. It is not far from the train station. These were lovely apartments that sat a few feet away from the main square. The flats were roomy, clean and felt safe and secure. I would definitely use these again. Walk out of the flats you have a courtyard with very helpful tourist information, and little shop. Onto the main street, turn left for shops and walk to castle and old town. Turn right and you are on the main square with fashion, eating , horses, wonderful markets and history. <br /> Krakow is defiantly worth a visit and these apartments are a great deal.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend in Krakow staying in a Krakow For You apartment with 5 friends. The communication prior to our trip was clear and efficient. The Taxi which we booked through the apartments was waiting for us on our arrival at the airport. The apartments are brilliantly located in the Main Square and ours was clean and tidy on arrival. The receptionist could not have been sweeter or more helpful throughout our stay - she was always happy to help in any way she could (from requests for different pillows to booking our Auschwitz trip). The only negative was there was some damp on the ceiling - it didn't affect us at all, it was just a stain but would have been near perfect if that wasn't there. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay slap bang in the middle of the beautiful city of Krakow who isn't wanting to pay a huge amount.

My wife and I stayed in the Moon apartment in April this year. Normally we stay in an hotel when in Krakow, but decided to try an apartment. What an excellent choice that was. The apartments have a fantastic location on the Royal Route and just off the main square. It was very clean and very well equipped and the staff were very, very helpful. We are an active couple in our late 60's and chose to ignore comments about no lifts and 4 flights of stairs. They were hard work after a day walking around, but the room made up for it. We are returning to Krakow later in the year and will definitely stay here again, although not on the top floor.

Jeśli nocleg w Krakowie, to tylko Grodzka 4!!! Bez względu na to, czy wyjazd jest służbowy czy prywatny, nie wyobrażam sobie innego miejsca do spania (o ile w Krakowie można spać). A w Krakowie bywam dość często.
Po pierwsze obsługa. Kompetentna, uśmiechnięta, zawsze pomocna i życzliwa. Dzięki temu można się poczuć jak bliski znajomy wpadający z wizytą, a nie jak obcy, który tylko nocuje.
Po drugie rewelacyjna lokalizacja. Praktycznie na Rynku, wszędzie blisko, można zapomnieć o samochodzie i taksówce. Jednocześnie cicho i spokojnie, szczególnie w apartamanetach od podwórka.
Po trzecie standard apartamentów. Większość właśnie świeżo po remoncie, chociaż tym "starszym" trudno cokolwiek zarzucić. Zawsze czysto, naczynia w kuchni wręcz sterylnie czyste (bez zacieków, śladu kurzu,itd.)
Polecam wszystkim - na wyjazd służbowy, romantyczny we dwoje, imprezowy ze znajomymi, jak też rodzinny z dziećmi. Mogę tak napisać z czystym sumieniem, ponieważ korzystam z gościnności Krakow4You od lat i z całą pewnością nadal będę korzystał. Room Tip: Apartamenty z oknami na Grodzką siłą rzeczy są nieco głośniejsze, chociaż nie można nazwać tego uciążliwością, okna świetnie tłumią hałas. We are students in erasmus and we book a 6 people room, the room was perfect with many space and very nice decored, everything was good but the best thing I found it was the people of the reception, they where very nice and allways giving you solutions, to all, airport transfers, tickets to Auswitch, Salt Mines, everything you need they helped you with a smile, also the girl in the reception speaks perfect spanish and english so is easy to communicate with her. I recommend Crackow and also this place if you want something cheap, quality and in the center of the old market platz

These apartments are in a really good location - we stayed in the Silver apartment at the front as we wanted to view the hustle and bustle on the street. We were a bit concerned that it would be too noisy, but that was not the case. It was nice to sit at the window and see the artists/mimes and the street cafes.
The staff were extremely helpful, even with the communication before we even got there. Very friendly indeed. The entrance is secure also which you access with your key or a key code.
As soon as you step onto the street you are in the middle of it and can see the square just a stones throw away. The opposite direction is the a nice stroll to the Jewish Quarter - another must see visit. The stroll takes you past cathedrels and one instance there was a lady singing opera in front of the cathedrel.
And of course a trip to Pod Wawelem for amazing food!
Would happily come back to these apartments/ Krakow!

Czego chcieć więcej? Może księżycowej nazwy apartamentu? I tutaj właściciele stanęli na wysokości zadania oferując nam apartament "Moon". Nie mówiąc już o przesympatycznej obsłudze, gotowej spełnić niemal każde życzenie gości, choćby takie jak wanna zamiast prysznica. I have stayed in these apartments many times - and can really recommend both the apartments and the company.
My work brings me to Krakow every second week - and usually I select one of the 40-50 square meter apartments. They are all nicely decorated and practical.
Add to this that the staff is very helpful. They are quick to resolve any issues that might arise and are all very friendly people.
The location is the best you can get in Krakow - only 50 meters from the market square! All you need of restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Apartments is a great and cheap way to stay in Krakow. The only disadvantage is that you have to take care of breakfast yourself. A good breakfast place just around the corner is Lajkonik on the corner of Stolarska and Dominikanska. Beautiful sandwitches!
Room Tip: Apartments facing the Grodzka street may be a little nosier than those facing the backyard.

The apartments are very very close to the main square of the city, the Market square. I chose Krakow 4 you because of the location and the free wi-fi in the rooms. I am really happy of my choise:good wi-fi connection, and in the apartment for 2 there was a living room, the kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom. Modern design, clean and wide rooms. Hairdryer and towels available in the bathroom. You just need soap and shower gel. There are stairs to climb to reach the rooms: I knew that because I read the reviews, and as my mother who was with me doesn't like climbing stairs, I asked for a room at the lower floors. They were so kind to give me a room at the second floor, stairs not that bad anyway!
I have only a coulpe of tips: 1. there is a lot of noise coming from a nightclub in Grodzka street, boys and girls chatting loud all night long, so if you have a light sleep, don't forget carrying the earplugs with you if you want to sleep well! 2. There are white windows shades, if you are used at darken the room when you go to bed, don't forget the eye mask/eyeshades as well!
About the entrance in 4 Grodzka steet, as you enter, on the left side there is a gate, to open it either you can dial a pin code or use the key given at the reception. Pay attention: the reception is not so well visible, right to the other side of the entrance, keep on walking and you'll find it on the left side of a little inner courtyard.

I booked 5 apartments as part of a school visit to Krakow. The apartments were great value, lovely and clean. The service we received from the staff was excellent and they made us feel very welcome. The entry to the apartments was secure and we felt safe at all times. The location is the best thing about these apartments - you step outside and you are in the main square. You can also see the Square and the Cloth Hall from some of the apartments. The apartments are great value and I plan to visit them again with my family next February.

The apartment was lovely. Accessed just off the main square by a PIN number on the gate. Made this apartment feel very safe. We had two bathrooms great with teenage girls. The kitchen was very well equipped, although we only used the kettle and cups. Maybe a bit of coffee and a few tea bags would have been an added bonus. There was a little bit of noise late at night and early morning, maybe the cleaners, in the morning not sure, but didn't spoil a good nights sleep. My room faced inwards away from the square. Beautifully renovated. Will definitely recommend and stay there again.

The Staff were brilliant and the so was the property, we originally booked the 6 room however they also offered a seperate room for us just so we could have 2 bathrooms. Every day and night they where helpful even when they let us in the aprtments at 5 in the morning after a heavy night. If you looking for a place bang in the centre seconds from all the best bars and restaurants this is the place for you. Wonderful place. The apartment was simply incredible - tastefully designed mixing modern with the traditional..very warm and comfortable. Very clean, good central location to the old town. The service was personable and welcoming. We had an exceptional time and would definatley head back!!! The apartments are also very secure with security guards and also a buzzer system.

The location is absolute brilliant - right in the centre of the city and only 50 m from the the old city square. The appartment we had was big and nicely equipped and holding fine standards. The staff very supportive. This is the second time we have used this hotel and I will happily do it again. No parking at or close by the hotel. But parking can be found within 400 m so that is not a big/major problem. Good advice from the staff helped a lot.

The location and proximity to the old town and the Market Square is superb. The vast array of quality restaurants and bars right on the door step was ideal and we would have need at least double the stay to sample the majority of them. We were there for 8 nights and we never ran out of places to go to eat and drink, it's a great place to party. Beds were comfy. When split between six people the price was very cheap much less than a hotel and even cheaper than a hostel. Right from the start I had very helpful email correspondence from the team there - with advice on booking trips and making plans. The apartment is walking distance from the Main Square down a main street - but also just a couple of minutes to local shops and a main tram stop.

Having just returned from the Grodzka Apartments we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to all our friends and family. Reservation process was easy, and questions answered quickly and in detail. Airport pick up arranged through them was prompt, friendly, and reasonably priced. Apartment was beautiful and the location (strict city center) meant no need to worry with buses or trams. The staff on the premises were all very friendly and helpful, willing to arrange transfers to/from airport and guided coach tours to local places of interest. The kitchen and bathroom were very well appointed. The bed was most comfortable and there was never any significant noise, so sleeping was assured. Very good location - the place was warm, clean and full of character. The furniture was tasteful, and thankfully not the sort of IKEA - inspired boring stuff you'd find in most hotels. At the end of our trip we felt we had actually stayed in and experienced POLAND, and much of that was due to the fact we had been based in this flat. If we'd stayed in some chain hotel we could have been anywhere...! Everything was well organised and airport pickups were arranged. We even arrived to find a small (but very welcome!) small bottle of wine awaiting us.

I stayed 4 nights in the Szczepanska Apartments house. I can recommend this quest house to everyone who likes a quiet and clean place for a reasonable price. The staff is really friendly and very helpful. The location is superb, because it 's very close to the Rynek (main square) and also the station and the Jewish quarter is just 15-20 minutes walk from here. When I come back to Krakow - a beautiful old town - I would like to stay in the Szczepanska Apartments house again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break in Krakow and found the Grodzka Apartments house an IDEAL place to stay. It is right in the center just a few metres from the main square. We had a two room appartment with en-suite toilet/shower. The beds were very comfortable and it was a calm and quiet place to rest our heads after our hectic attempts to see everything which we wanted to in Krakow. The staff are VERY VERY helpful and gave us loads of suggestions for places to go for meals and excursions. Anthony went on an excursion to Auschwitz which they organised and he said that they could not have been more helpful and attentive. We would recommend also that you take the Bicycle Tour of Krakow - it is a super way to see the place and John who runs it is an extremely entertaining raconteur. We will recommend the Grodzka Apartments house to our friends and will definitely stay there if we return

This owner operated appartment is clean, modern, spacious and well furnished. A real gem in the middle of Cracow, located on a pedestrian only shopping street, just 50 steps away from the central market of Cracow and the medieval cloth hall. A turn to the right from your accomodation, and you have immediate access to the heart of this wonderful city. A turn to the left, and 50 steps away you have a small but completely stocked supermarket. Walk 10 minutes more and you're at the gates of the imposing and brooding mase of the must be visited Wawel castle. Tired but content, return to your spacious rooms and relax on the comfortable L-shaped sofa, make yourself a snake or meal in the fully equiped kitchen, and turn on the color TV, and watch one of the 200 satellite channels. Time for bed, then a separate room with a near queen size bed awaits your slumber, and a modern bathroom with shower is directly attached. There are no bad surprises here, and the reasonable rental rates will keep you smiling, smiling, and smiling. Such was our experience in Cracow during a visit in 2004.
