Soon, the Old Town of Krakow will get a completely new face, but this is not the only good news for the inhabitants and enthusiasts of the city. The municipal authorities decided to ask inhabitants of Krakow for the suggestions concerning the changes mentioned above. The project of  the Old Town development plan is going to be published on 16th March and, since then, everyone will have a chance to comment on the suggested alterations.
The plan is supposed to cover the street of Straszewskiego, Podwale, Dunajewskiego, Basztowa, Westerplatte, św Gertrudy and Bernandyńska, including Wawel Hill and its surrounding together with the left Vistula embankment till Podzamcze street.
The authorities claim that the plan will protect historical areas and, at the same time, it will secure various uses of the mentioned places, including clear rules of their development and public use. Does that mean that the area which has been treated as the pride of the city will achieve this status completely? It is very possible.
