Sundays in August always between 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Although half of the summer is over there are a few holiday days still remaining including weekends which usually people prefer to spend in a special way. All those who have no idea how to spend Sunday afternoons in Krakow may appreciate the offer of the Jewish Museum “Galicia,” which familiarizes people with the Jewish history of Krakow.
On every Sunday in August the Galicia Museum organises two-hour (between 4:00p.m. and 6p.m.) guide tours. The walk is free of charge but the knowledge which might be gained during it invaluable. What is more, the walk is also a nice physical exercise so, as you can see, there are many reasons for taking part in this unusual pastime in Krakow!
Every walk has its own main topic. The two remaining tours will be devoted to the Jewish resistance movement(23rd August) – “there is no turning back from our road” (starting at the seat of the Galicia Museum in Dajwór Street 18), and to the Work Camp known from the “Schindler’s List” – Konzentrationslager Krakau-Plaszow (30th August starting from the tram stop “Podgórze Cemetery”).
The event is free of charge, but it’s worth making a reservation at (012) 421 68 42.
We’re waiting for you!
