Cracovian Błonia 2nd – 3rd August, 5:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Fire, one of the four elements enabling life on our planet, causes a lot of fear among people due to its unstoppable violence and power of destruction. But there is also another face of this malevolent element – being a source of light and energy, without which no progress would have been possible, fire was crucial for the development of mankind.
But can fire serve as an element of art? Organizers of the 1st International Pyrotechnic Arts Gala, which will take place on 2nd and 3rd August in Cracovian Błonia, will try to persuade everyone that indeed fire can arouse feelings which are aesthetic in nature. Krakow will gather pyrotechnic artists from all over the world. There will be visitors from Germany, Italy, Czech Republic and Portugal. Poland will be represented by Paweł Zyguła and Nakaja Art group. All the teams will compete entering the pyrotechnic lists.
Apart from the competition there will be many other attractions: the show of the Salamandra Fire Theatre, dance performances and stunt shows with the use of pyrotechnic devices.
It seems that the first week of August will be very hot in Krakow!
