Volkswagen Beetle, one of the most unusual and recognizable cars, is so amazing that millions of people all over the globe fell in love with it. The Beetle or the Bug, designed by Ferdinand Porsche, was commissioned by Adolf Hitler himself, who wanted an ideal car for an ideal German family. He wished it was big enough to accommodate parents, three children and their luggage. The car was also supposed to be cheap economical and “unusual,” in other words ideal. However, the large scale production of the Bug started after the War due to the efforts of the British. Later, the production was transferred to Southern and Middle America. The Beetle was produced in Mexico till the year 2003.
