Canadian Diva in Cracovian Blonia

Holiday season in Krakow begins with great pomp accompanied by visits of famous music stars. There are two major music events scheduled for June. The first one includes Jamiroquai’s performance during the Wianki Festival and the second Celine Dion’s concert for over 60,000 people. Right now a special arena is being built in Błonia. It resembles a stadium but due to its size the whole audience will have a chance to listen to the concert regardless of the weather.
For the last five years Celine did not appear outside the USA as the contract bound her to perform only in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Therefore, the Cracovian concert is
a unique opportunity to see the singer in person without leaving the country. In Błonia on 28th June 2008, the star will sing her biggest hits including “My heart will go on”
from the soundtrack of the famous tearjerker, “Titanic.”
The concert in Krakow will be the first performance of Celine Dion in Poland, therefore organizers do their best to satisfy both the star and the audience. Apart from Celine the spectators will be able to see a wonderful multimedia show displayed on twenty diode screens. The concert, which will last for two hours, starts at 8:00 p.m. but fans can come to Błonia already at 10:00 a.m. At this time begins a free festival called “May B Krakow,” during which music enthusiasts can listen to Polish artists and learn something more about Celine Dion’s artistic career.
